What can you see and do at the Eco-Lodge Itororó?

Our ideal geographical position offers our guests a large variety of hiking options.
You will be able to walk through the Atlantic Rainforest and up to the high Altitude Fields and experience their immense variety of plants and birds, all framed by this beautiful scenery.

We'll be happy to organize your transfer from Rio to the Eco Lodge Itororó and back. (Included, if you’re booked for a Tour or Expedition)

Who are the guests and tour participants?

Our guests are usually nature enthusiasts, botanists and gardeners, students from universities and schools, orchids and bromeliads lovers, specialists, or people who want to experience the Brazilian nature first hand.

What’s the itinerary of a tour or expedition?

We plan and organize our tours and expeditions so that we can be back at a Lodge or Hotel in the late afternoon, to relax, enjoy a good meal and share the experiences of the day. Even though hiking can be sometimes strenuous, our trips are planned in a way that people from all ages can participate.

Do you plan and organize individual tours?

We design and organize tours and expeditions according to different levels of difficulty. For individual groups we are able to plan tailor-made tours, in your field of interest. We can also plan trips for people who would like to camp in the Atlantic Forest and spend some nights imbedded in nature.

Adventure tours?

Let us emphasize that our tours are not adventure tours! However, there will always be a feeling of adventure in them. This is already due to the foreign surroundings of the tropical landscape itself and all new smells and noises that enchants our visitors.
Our trips and expeditions should show you more of the genuine Brazil, its nature, its people and our nature protection projects. We want to connect fun, learning, experiencing, new impressions and the coming true of old dreams.
We also customize expeditions for individual tours, according to your field of interest.
