Rainforest and Environmental Protection

After the check-in and the first contacts with the Atlantic Rainforest, with its smells and sounds, we’ll experience the Brazilian cuisine with time to relax at the natural swimming pool. During the following days we’ll hike through the Atlantic Rainforest experiencing the full splendour of this peculiar and rare ecological system.
Waterfalls, rivers, orchids, bromeliads, tree ferns and so much more.
Equipped with binoculars and photo equipment we’ll explore the Nature Reserve Macaé de Cima. Here we’ll have the opportunity to observe and research the Atlantic Rainforest with its amazing flora and fauna.
And we’ll also hike to the Poussolet, enjoying the view from the region and its mountain scenery. On this occasion, we’ll also have the opportunity to see and receive more information about the Itororó Project.

Friburgo - Teresópolis - Petrópolis

Petrópolis and Teresópolis
We’ll stop in the National Park Serra dos Orgãos where we’ll have the opportunity to gatter impressions and information about this region,
with enough time for a short trekking and photos.
In Petrópolis we’ll visit the Imperial Museum with its interesting Portuguese-Brazilian history.

Coast, dunes and Búzios

We’ll show you a many-sided coastal region with wonderful white dunes and dreamlike beaches. Here one can see and study the difference between Atlantic Rainforest and coastal vegetation. In the late afternoon we’ll relax and enjoy the beach with a chilled fruit juice or soft drink.
Then we’ll explore Búzios with its charming streets and surroundings. We’ll enjoy the Brazilian Cuisine, with its exotic spices and herbs, with enough time to relax at the beach and let the experiences of the last days sink in.
